Was hoping we could find a Chinese restaurant closer to home. Ordered shrimp chowmein, beef and broccoli, orange chicken and egg rolls. The food was edible (minus the orange chicken). The chowmein had a generous amount of shrimp compared to other restaurants. The orange chicken was drowned in sauce and had a sort of strong chemical smell that burned your nose.
Was very disappointed with my lunch plate. The fried rice seemed like it was made a day or two before and just reheated bc it almost looked slimy and the taste was very questionable. Sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken was god, way too much sauce and amour given was a little stingy. Thank goodness I got the chicken wonton soup though, it was the one thing that was decent, missing some sort of wonton flavoring but I was co tent with it, and helped fill me up. The food can be a hit or miss honestly. I'm just here to mention the lack of air conditioning in the summer. You start sweating the second you enter the building and you're not the entire time you're there eating. There's no air flow whatsoever and that does suck just a bit. Owners are absolutely sweet people and I love them I just wish the air conditioning was a thing that worked.
