Amy was a super fun personable server. We had a great view, amazing service and outstanding food. Always love the vibe at Tavern House.
Absolutely superb food! Fresh and delicious and served in a timely manner. Our server was also excellent and the view on to a marina was beautiful. Would definitely recommend.
Food is amazing. Our waitress was a little busy but that is to be expected on a busy Friday night. Ambiance is nice. Lively restaurant great staff. Will be back!
We had a wonderful time with out of town guests....they loved the view!! Thank you for that.
It's been over a year since I dine at Tavern House Kitchen & Bar and it was even more memorable than last time! We dined at sunset and snagged a booth adjacent to the window. The sunset was amazing and the dimly lit dining area with a glowing candle was just perfect. Our waiter was very personable and made the dinner more satisfying. The food was amazing and the restaurant is just a very classy place! Make sure you dine in the bar area - that's where the ambience is the best!
Such an enjoyable evening from cocktails to cappuccinos it was a fantastic evening with beautiful views of the ocean. Our server Nori always delivers A+ service!!! We will be back and of course we will request Nori!
The food is always delicious and presentation is so appealing, but the service is the best in town.
We were the first to experience dining in their wine room. It was absolutely amazing. We were a party of five and to have the privacy and wine room experience was totally worth the fee to use it! I would highly recommend for your special occasions or business meetings.
We go every week to Tavetn House- sometimes more. There were 6 of us together last nite. 3 meals ok but the filet screwed ( 2 orders) and the stroganoff was horrible. Overcooked, dry, meat terrible. Whoever that chef was should be fired. We have never had such bad food there.
Beautiful setting. Try and get a table next to the window, but be aware it's west facing and just before sunset you can get blinded. They do have curtains you can drop so it wasn't a huge issue The service was excellent. The portions significant. I had the ribs and they were ‘wet' and over seasoned for me, but the portions were huge and enough to share. The beans were average and nothing special. I did like the Cole Slaw quite a bit. The fries were a very small portion and average. My wife had the chicken dinner. She thought the onion soup was very good but it did have a huge layer of cheese on it, so that gets down to personal preference. The chicken was good but just not outstanding. I would go back again and try something different to see how that holds up in comparison.

The very BEST French Onion Soup you can get outside of Paris! We went on a Sunday night and sat at our favorite booth.. the ambience was pleasantly quiet and enabled a perfect conversation. Of course, if you get the soup.. you have to order the garlic toasts! Yumm. The martini's were perfectly crafted to our personal specifications and served “up” in generous martini glasses! Second course was Shrimp Dijon recommended by our waitress and we fully enjoyed it! Loved the total experience! We will be back to sample the rest of the menu!
Sat by the window by the bay. Great view. Server was attentive. Husband had bbq ribs. He enjoyed them. I thought I ordered the Nashville chicken but I was served the chicken dish with mashed potatoes and green beans. Since both orders came at the same time, I decided not to question it. I would have to wait to get my order. Afterwards, I thought that perhaps I received someone else's order. Ordered another margarita. Should have been a Cadillac, but it wasn't. It was just a regular margarita. Did not think to request a replacement.
We were sat at a window table as requested but we were there for happy hour and were told happy hour was not included at our table! Why didn't they tell us this before they sat us? It's the only reason we chose tavern house at 5pm. We were sitting next to the bar! We paid a lot more than we should have for the same food and drinks. Very disappointing.
My only complaint is in regad to the obligatory valet parking, which seems unnecessary for a restaurant with lots of parking spaces around.
This is a great restaurant for happy hour and meals. The restaurant has a beautiful bar with views of the water and a wonderful cocktail and wine by the glass menu. The highlight for dinner was the shrimp and lobster sandwich on fresh sliced sourdough with avocado and bacon. It was the best seafood sandwich I have ever had. It is large so plan to share. It paired nicely with the Chalkhill Chardonnay. I cannot wait to visit again soon.
