Had an excellent experience their first time, I was there before when it was under a different name and Chef. The food we had the service we had the atmosphere was just outstanding!!! The service was impeccable. The food was over the top they were not skimpy either on the lobster my eggs Benedict haven't had tater tot since I was a kid they were great can't say more about it again for dinner.

Wait time for food was well over an hour. The ossobuco fell short, it was dry and tough, not tender as expected. I have been here a few times, view gets me every time and I wonder why I don't come here often enough. My last experience was not so good but I will give them another chance at some point. I understand it's not the owners fault if a waiter or chef makes mistakes.
We always enjoy our time at Tavern House! Good food and nice people working there. Tatiana was our server during a busy Easter brunch. She was busy but upbeat and nice. Our experience for a holiday meal and others as well has been very good. We keep returning.

I've been going here for a long time and it's just not as good as it used to be. I've been twice now in the last month and both times service was not great and food arrived late/cold. Disappointing since it has great ambiance.
Easter brunch with my family - food was good, just quite expensive. Not many choices on the special menu, especially for kids. The heavy rain outside meant the lovely view was not seen, or appreciated, unfortunately. The servers were good. I'd come back!

Came in looking for Don Wilhem, good buddy Evan Thomas came by to say hello & have dinner. Nori waited on us and was fantastic.
Every aspect of the Anniversary dinner was beyond expectations. The butter garlic scallops were so flavorful. Our main dish was the French onion filet mignon. I don't think I will ever eat a steak another way. The service from the hostess to the manager and bar staff never made us think or wait for anything. Our server was one of the best ever. I use to go to 333 for happy hour back in the day. The packed house shows the high level of revamping and culture we will be back for many more great meals!

We asked for the flatbread pizza to be crispy not floppy. The bartender assured us it would crispy, it was not. The flatbread was floppy and kinda wet. The Chopin dirty marini didn't have olive juice and 1 sad olive when I asked for 3. I've been back a few times since the launch of Tavern House, in my opinion it was better when it was 333.
My husband and I dined at this wonderful establishment last night and had an amazing meal thanks to our fabulous server named Nori. Every suggestion she gave us from the wine, appetizers, salad, main course and dessert could not have been better! We started with oysters on the half shell and the Charred Brussels sprouts, followed by the Buddha Bowl with the special of the day, Steak Diane, as our main course. We saved just enough room for dessert, sharing their incredible Carrot-Walnut cake with cream cheese & white chocolate frosting along with an espresso martini! Everything was delicious!!! I highly recommend dining here and asking for Nori as your server. She was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and welcoming.

We’ve been going there for over two years and it’s still the best restaurant in the town. Everything about them is top notch. Tatiana is the best and she’s so sweet. The food, drinks, and desserts are the most delicious ones. Highly recommended!

Had an early dinner / happy hour on a Wednesday at 5pm--service was great, excellent view of Linda Isle & Newport Harbor's public dock just before sunset. Burger & Dijon shrimp were great. Also really enjoyed the smoked maple old fashioned. Not crowded at that time so lots of seating options & bar spaces so you can get a preferred view. Tried & trusted local spot. Will be back soon.

Tavern House has really stepped up their game and we are really loving it. Most recently we had brunch that was amazing! The Bloody Mary was a great add to it :) Check their website and photos of the food, your mouth will start watering. Our last visit prior to brunch was dinner. My wife and I sat at the bar and really enjoy the view, the ambiance and vibe in this place. We will surely be back again soon!

Host was very kind, nice and sat us at at a high top table. It was a late lunch on a Sunday- There was a large party sitting behind us and could hardly hear any of our own conversation- which is uncontrollable- but also noted with the overall experience. As for service- our server was nothing great- she maybe came to the table 3 times total- I had ordered a margarita without salt, and it arrived with salt- she left quick enough before I can stop her to fix the drink. I tried to take it off myself but all the salt poured into the drink. We had yet to see her for another 20 mins. At this point-our food already arrived at this point and food halfway eaten and still no where to be seen. I ended up stopping another server to ask he for a new drink which she quickly and kindly fixed. The next time we saw her was to clear our plates when we asked for the check. Food wasn't bad- we had ordered the prime rib sandwich and a chicken salad. We had not condiments- salt pepper or ketchup- but at this point already waiting for our server to come back- there was no point in even asking since we had already eaten most of our meal. We just stopped in after looking at our new apt nearby- so it might be a while checking this place out again- and even If so-I'd opt for the bar and hopefully get quicker and better service than what we got.
