Our chef and server were very friendly and hospitable. The chicken in the fried rice was dry. We had the NB Dining week specials with the Wagyu meats and the A5 and the Rib Eye were cooked nicely while the NY steak was a little tough. When the chef reviewed our orders there wasn't clear communication and it seemed the orders were mixed up. The chef also doesn't speak English well so that may have been part of the issue. Overall the experience was fine but they were running over an hour late in reservation times. I was told by others every weekend is like this. Feel bad for the gals working the reservation desk as everyone was upset and angry. Wouldn't go back just because that ruined the whole experience. Waited 80 minutes from my reservation time until service.
Tried the new power lunch specials. No substitutions allowed FYI. Guaranteed to be served in under 45 minutes. It was, but only because they do not cook the fried rice in front of you--they bring it out from the back and it does not come close to having them cook it on the hibachi in front of you.
