I was in Newport Beach for the afternoon and some friends recommended that I have lunch at Bluewater Grill. All I can say is five stars is not enough. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and very pleasant, not to mention the water view. My wife and I made wrong turn and we found this place. The food was wonderful and service was great. I had the halibut with asparagus and scalloped potatoes. We're Newport locals and enjoyed a date night at Bluewater Grill on 12/5/2025. The food was absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our server was upbeat, kind, and very attentive, which made the experience even better. The only disappointment was the hostess.
