Super chill and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very knowledgeable on their coffee and helped me with my indecisiveness. I got an Americano with cold foam and it was exactly what I wanted.
Out of all the coffee shops in LB, I highly recommend this spot to visit if you're passionate about coffee. Even if you're not, it's still a great place to do some work or meet up.

If you love strong coffee, this place is for you. But for me, I thought it was too strong even with sugar. Their isn't much to order for food and hardly any protein options. The staff were fantastic and were very engaging to the customers. I was in and out in less than ten minutes.

Parking: Parking is super easy and there is a great park across the road
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly we had our children here as you can see by the photos. There is a fantastic playground across the road for the kids after you get your coffee.

One of the few places with nitro cold brew I've found in Cali in a week. Real wait great service (Cameron was delightful, she took her time right at closing to show us the roastery and even let us sample a newly roasted variety). Great coffee, really great vibes, and really really great staff.

I discovered Common Room coffee while dining at Nicks in Laguna Beach. I ordered a decaf coffee for breakfast, and it was the best decaf diner-esque coffee I had ever had.
I asked the waitress to find out which coffee they were serving, and that’s when I learned it was Common Room! Shoutout to Nicks for serving this great coffee. So, I recently ordered some online, and I have been so so pleased with the freshness and taste of the coffee. The coffees also come with these adorable cards that explain more about the coffee & roast.
