“Wonderful family owned place! The most authentic Italian restaurant outside of Italy. At Il Farro food is prepared with attention and real LOVE. Everything from the appetizers to dessert were perfect. Every dish is made with true italian fresh and natural ingredients and is made by traditional recipes. The talented chef M. makes pastas and pizzas daily and they taste amazing. Also the house wine is a good selection. I suggest you to have their own valuable wine. Il Farro has a great management and staff too. We loved interacting with customers and guys who work in, they became like family for us. The qualified employees are friendly helpful and the restaurant is always clean. They do have enough seats and limited outdoor seating, but get a reservation in advance to make sure you have a place.Hands off, this is the best place to gather with friends or family! It has our ❤️s. We loved it.“

“WOW. A brand new restaurant that is amazing.

Outstanding food and service. As good as it gets.

Way, way better than expected. This place is great anywhere and out of this world for Orange County.

When we walked through the entrance to the outside seating the owner greeted us in an Italian accent and helped us out with wine as soon as we sat down.

Our caprese salad was excellent, featuring house made mozzarella.

I had the lobster pasta, my wife had the chicken parm, and my daughter had pizza. All was top notch.

Our server was outstanding and knew the menu and the wine very, very well.

I am not a dessert guy, but theirs was excellent.

This place was very, very kid friendly with 50% of the tables having a kid or two under 8 and plenty of food that appealed to my 6 year-old.

Within reason, I could care less about price, but this place is an absolute steal compared to other OC restaurants.

I cannot think of any other restaurant in Orange County that I would rather eat at.

“Celebrated our anniversary at Buona Forchetta Newport last night. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely and went out of their way to make it a special evening. The artichoke starter was so good! We ordered our mains from the specials list, both were fantastic. We can’t wait to go back and try the pizza!“

“Been driving by for years and finally decided to try. I was NOT disappointed. The food is AMAZING! True Italian style pastas, and hibernation inducing garlic bread (drooling just thinking about it). The staff were extremely kind and happy to chitchat. We will definitely be coming back.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access (from the parking lot) is through the back. There is a busters station where they will lead you to the front. One section of dining room is only accessible by stairs.“

“For Mother's Day, we had a party of 15 - which the restaurant easily accommodated. Our table was ready on time. The food was good, the scenery was great. The service was, however, lacking. The sun was out, so we asked the waiter if he could help move an umbrella for my 18 month old son and wife (she was on the opposite side of the table from me). He ignored us despite having been asked twice, by my count. The third time he pawned it off on a co-worker, who helped immediately. Finally the checks came - we asked for separate checks, which was no problem. Everyone paid and we were on our way. Later, my wife discovered that she had been charged for the whole table ($400) on top of the separate bill that she already paid. I was charged an additional $80, and my sister was charged an additional $20. My wife had to call the restaurant from work in order to straighten it out. So if you go in a group, be careful of how you're billed. Aside from that, it was a great meal with family. We would go back if there were no further issues.“

“OMG, this place is so great. It only has about 10 tables in the front with a nice Italian feel. The food is amazing, my son and I had the spaghetti boganese. My wife had the lobster ravioli and my daughter had the salmon pasta. All the dishes were so good. The meal is saved with bread and butter. The house wine was delicious as well.“

“Exquisite food. Excellent service. This is a walk-up pizzeria so the atmosphere is sidewalk friendly lol. Pizza was a good price Plus they put extra cheese. Definitely going to go back to this establishment. If I had to do it over again I would have called ahead or made an online order. Parking is a pain between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Parking: There's only a handful of spots for you to park. I would definitely order prior to coming to this establishment so that you can pull up, pop out of your car, get your pizza order, and slip on out of there like restock better“

“Wow wow and wow !! If u want to feel loved all you have to do is order a pizza from here !! I have never been so impressed by a pizza place ! It’s not just pizza their menu is out of control amazing !! The owners did a great job with the staff and kept true to their beliefs .. LOVE!! We all share one thing in common we just want to be loved .. I give so many kudos to this place and I really hope during this really bad time that we share love and pizza .. I had a friend send me a pizza gram and I can’t express how it made me feel Thanks SGT for thinking of such a creative way to make us all feel great ! I challenge u all to send a pizza to someone who is hurting ..someone you love .... someone you miss ... someone’s who is hungry .. or just to your own neighbor .. this made my day !
