I must have passed this joint a million times when I've come to visit friends on the Newport Beach peninsula and Every time I pass this place when I'm on my motorcycle I can smell the burgers grilling and filling the ocean air with great burger aromas, this time I had to stop and I tell you it was one of the best decisions I've made all week. I ordered one of their pub burgers it's cooked to order, I had mine done medium well, and it was a great burger it comes with cheese and I added a couple of slices of bacon and boy I'm telling you it was one of the best burgers I've had lately it came with fries, (they could have been crisper) but still ok, I washed it all down with a cold Guinness. And I'm telling you I'll be back for sure, the staff is friendly and helpful, if you are in the neighborhood stop by here and grab yourself a great burger, they also have an incredible Menu full of pub food items. I can't wait to go back and try their wings and maybe one of their primerib sandwiches. ?Tell them Fred sent you.

Malarky's is one of my favorite places to go eat and drink when I am down in Newport Beach. During the day it has a family and dog friendly patio. The BLT is the best in town with extra bacon! Not only that but their popcorn chicken and Irish stew is always a must! Bailey is one of my favorite bartender because she always super friendly and remembers her customers! Plus she makes an amazing margarita!! Last time I was there I met the General Manager and he was so nice, came around to our table and made sure everything was amazing! I love when managers do that! Next time you are down in Orange County make sure you visit Malarkey's Irish pub!

10/10 service and vibes!!!! Were harassed by really weird guys filming us in the bar and the manager Andrew stepped in and made sure we felt comfortable in their establishment by lowering the blinds and getting the men filming to get away from us! Sarah was our server and was 10/10 we got good food and great drinks!! Will come back again and again!

BEST bar and restaurant in town! went here for my bachelorette party and the staff and manager, especially Sarah and Andrew, were extremely accommodating and protected us from other violating patrons. Food and drinks were amazing. This establishment deserves all the recognition - they went above and beyond!

Malarky's was suggested by a bartender who used to work here, she said the food was really good. I wasn't disappointed, I wasn't sure what to get so I asked for some suggestions from the bartender and after listening to his suggestions I got the Blue Cheese Burger, which was HUGE! It was cooked to my liking and was super juicy. They also know how to pour their Guinness, which not everyone seems to know how to do. I would definitely come back if I am ever up in Newport again.
