Newport Coffee is a must-visit for any coffee lover! As an avid coffee drinker, I can confidently say they nailed it. The coffee is rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed every time. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done. Friendly staff and consistently excellent drinks — I’ll definitely be coming back often!

I recently grabbed a sugar-free vanilla latte with almond milk from Newport Coffee Co., and it was exactly what I needed to pair with a quiet sunset by the beach. The almond milk gave it a smooth, nutty base without overpowering the espresso, and the sugar-free vanilla added just the right touch of sweetness--clean and not artificial-tasting at all.

The coffee itself? Balanced, rich, and clearly made with care. You can taste the quality in every sip. It's not overly bitter, which is something I appreciate in a latte, especially one without dairy or sugar. Just a solid, well-crafted drink.

Whether you're a regular or just passing through Newport Beach, this is a great spot to grab a cup and take in the view.

I walked into this place today at 7:30 pm and asked if they’re still open because it seemed as if they were packing up. This worker said “uhh almost, we don’t have a lot of things available”. I ended up leaving and checked what time they close. They close at 9pm ……. Seriously ?

This place always has a line. I never think they are friendly but I do like their coffees. They usually have a list of specials but you can't see it until you up to the register. Would be helpful for us to see while we are waiting in the long line. I feel rushed when I get up to the register because I'm reading the sign but there's a line behind you.

The coffee is good. Hits the spot when you are by the beach here on the pier.

My husband and I were on a staycation and came across this local coffee shop and were excited it was walking distance. We ordered the same thing 3 days in a row. My husband would go inside and order while I waited with the baby outside. He never got a receipt and just assumed they charged us correctly. I got my credit card statement and they charged me 14.30, 17.20, and 21.96 for 2 drinks! Each day they went up in price for the exact same drinks. I feel like they took advantage of us and I will NEVER RETURN HERE AGAIN!

Really nice mom and pop coffee shop right before the start of the pier. Grab your coffee and take a walk on the pier!

My friend and I LOVED the coffee here. It tastes SO smooth and delicious. Ordered the “Salty Beaches.” I got mine half sweet and it was heavenly!!! (coming from someone sooo picky about their coffee) Must Try.

Slow and stale. Chocolate croissant out of a box from day before. Waited 10 mins for a plain bagel, has to remind server as she has forgotten and left in oven the whole time. Then handed to me and didn’t even apologise ..

This oceanfront coffee shop completely exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t expecting such variety on the menu, let alone the incredible flavor in their matcha latte, it was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The two ladies working behind the counter were also wonderfully nice and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Great coffee, and warm service by the ocean …what else I could ask for :)

I went to a coffee shop and was waiting in line when, unexpectedly, my one-year-old daughter projectile vomited. I was in complete shock, but my first instinct as a mother was to turn her toward me to avoid getting anyone else messy and to comfort her. Once she was done, someone pointed out that there was a trash can nearby. The staff behind the counter gave off rude vibes, telling me to “go to the bathroom and clean up if you need to,” while chatting among themselves. Staff seemed more concerned about who would clean the mess but with more so like “ughhh” than about my daughter’s wellbeing.

My way volunteer to clean it up by asking for a mop, but I have never felt more embarrassed and uncomfortable as a mother. I stepped outside to further care for my daughter and could still hear staff and others talking about her. This was incredibly disappointing—especially in a place staffed mostly by women. In situations like this, compassion and understanding should come first, not judgment
