As someone with a hospitality management degree and food service background, I was incredibly disappointed by the poor attitudes of the staff here. While they may deal with high-net-worth individuals who are indifferent, that's no excuse to treat all customers with hostility.
One staff member, a female who seems to be the head chef with a tattoo on her arm, stands out for her consistently unwelcoming demeanor--never greeting customers, offering cold stares, and rushing people out. This is far from the hospitality standard.
Employees here clearly need retraining, if not replacement. Until the owner addresses these issues, I can't recommend this place to anyone who values good service.
Tater tots and the build your own chicken sando are a must

Good service people and good food.
The food is what you'd expect from a kiosk in the airport. Unfortunately this is not in an airport. But at least it's priced like it is.
Great food and service! They should add phone and online ordering though for pickup.
Every order I’ve made hasn’t been executed to the standards I had in mind. First order I made was a gluten free bun burger and the manager later told me they didn’t have gluten free buns, he gave me the option 1. No bun or 2. Gluten free sandwich bun. After that I ordered hash browns on two different occasions in which you can tell they were old and tasted burnt.
So exited about Pacific Kitchen coming to Newport Beach, they offer a wide range of dishes for us Foodies! They offer sandwiches, soups and hot plates. Every week they have specialty dishes, for example one week it was Mediterranean, the other was Poke bowls, etc. The prices are very reasonable too. The kitchen closes at 2 pm but they have a coffee bar and pre cooked or made foods that you can grab until 4pm.
Pacifix Kitchen is the only resturant in town that serves Vietnamese and it's super tasty. That have great service too. A hidden gem for sure.
