Made dinner reservations for my 50th birthday, but something came up last minute so we decided to drop by during lunch time the next day without reservations. Fortunately, they were able to get us seated immediately outdoors next to the water fountain. The restaurant was gorgeous and ambiance was beautiful. The view was amazing, food was spectacular, and the service was great. It was perfection and I would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

This place was remarkably mediocre.
Despite having a reservation, we waited more than 15 minutes to be seated while numerous tables sat empty. The cocktails were underwhelming, and the food was average. In the end, it felt like a restaurant focused far more on presentation and hype than on delivering a quality dining experience.

Ordered coffee same time I ordered our meals. Coffee was not served until I reminded server when he delivered our meals. 10 minutes later coffee arrives. I was never offered a warm up or refill. I requested 2 and server only delivered 1. Definitely room for improvement on service
The seabass was below average. It was fishy and cold. The burger was over cooked. The branzino was actually tasty and the sweet potato fries were equally good.
I can't recommend this place. Save your money.

We had the best birthday celebration at RH Newport because of our awesome server ALI!!! Not only was he serving the cutest smiles and charm but he was also very attentive, great service and made the experience perfect! The appetizers crunchy artichoke and tomato burrata salad was delicious, great burger with yummy truffle and sweet potatoe fries. The warm scrumptious chocolate chip cookies were 👌

Honestly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Everything tasted premade or like cafeteria food. It was honestly shocking. The cafe in Nordstrom is better. My food came out cold and wasn’t cooked the way I asked. Service was awful and rude to top it off. Would never come back here or recommend it to anyone.

All around a 5 star rating. The cafe is beautifully decorated, drinks and foods very elegant and tasty, but the best part is the ambiance and atmosphere. Gorgeous ocean view, large windows and warm yet cool weather. Loved it all!

I feel the standard is below the basic level. It really needs improvement.

Had the nicest lunch here today, Nate was our server and he was wonderful. The food was GREAT (crispy artichokes for a starter were top notch, then most of us had lobster rolls which were really tasty, and one of us had the burger which was really good!)
We’ll definitely be back! The atmosphere was beautiful, we loved it!

A relatively new restaurant in the Fashion Island mall. The views from the restaurant are pretty good since it is on the roof. You will be able to see Huntington Beach South toward Crystal Cove.

Lovely partially ocean view restaurant! Good vibes. Chic people and lovely decorations.
We came here for our anniversary and left underwhelmed. The seating layout wastes what could be a genuinely great view — we were placed at a table facing other diners, which felt more like a cafeteria than a celebration.
The food was the bigger disappointment. The crispy artichoke everyone raves about is essentially a Bloomin' Onion with less of it. The burrata was forgettable. The king crab salad was a head of butter lettuce with a token amount of crab. The banana split looked like something assembled in 90 seconds. For the price point and the setting, none of this is acceptable.
The atmosphere was also off. You're sharing a dining room with people who wandered in after looking at sofas, and it shows.
If you want a real meal in this part of town, drive down to Bandera. Better food, better feel, no furniture. I'd be surprised if this concept is still operating in two years.

I had lunch at RH Ocean Grill today and really enjoyed it. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the burrata and lobster roll to the truffle fries, shrimp cocktail, branzino, and dessert. Great food, great atmosphere, and I’d definitely come back again.

Had dinner here with a couple friends last weekend and overall it was a pretty good experience. The food came out fresh and tasted great, especially the grilled chicken dish I ordered. Service was friendly and the staff checked on us without being overbearing. The place was busy but we didn't have to wait too long for a table. Prices felt fair for the portion sizes. One of our sides was a little colder than expected, but they fixed it right away. I'd definitely come back again when I'm in the area and would reccomend it to others looking for a solid meal.

Restoration Hardware Newport was such a great experience!
First, let’s talk about Michael. I am probably every server’s worst nightmare because I’m incredibly indecisive. I narrowed my meal down to three options and made him pick for me. 😂 He was patient, attentive, friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. I also have a soy allergy, and he was on point with everything. He took it seriously, knew exactly what I could and couldn’t have, and made me feel completely comfortable.
Now the food. The grilled shrimp appetizer with the Calabrian oil? Absolutely delicious. I could have eaten two orders and been perfectly happy. The burger Michael recommended was good, but for me it was about a 6.5/10. Solid, but not the star of the show.
The real winners were the shrimp dishes, the Pear Martini, and the Peach Bellini. And then came dessert…
The chocolate chip cookies were the perfect salty-sweet combination, warm and packed with flavor. But the banana split? A must-order. I’m pretty sure one bite transported me to a place where bananas were dancing to the beat of the background music. That’s the only way I can explain it.
Beautiful atmosphere, great food, amazing service, and Michael absolutely made the experience. We’ll definitely be back!
