The English muffins they bake here are out of this world! We love coming for brunch and grabbing a bag to go so we can make sandwiches with them during the week. Everything we have tried here has been amazing.
The breakfast sandwich was out of this world. Avocado toast with fried egg was awesome too!

We tried the apple cinnamon cruffin, the almond croissant, the bear claw, the Coco knock, a breakfast sandwich, and a large latte. All of the items were delicious and freshly made. I definitely think you should try the cruffin and the knock knock. These are things that I've not seen at any other bakery and they were terrific!

Beware!
This latino guy staff “Edwin” gave me the wrong order again, I ordered “Egg , american cheese, hash brown, fresh tomato, grilled onion , chipotle mayo on a wheat” and they gave me “Egg, grilled onion, chipotle mayo on a wheat! “ Overcharged! Not happy! Go elsewhere!
This white staff took my order even though they don’t have pastries anymore! Then this black staff just put my unwrapped sandwich on the table, disgusting presentation!
Go somewhere else!
The white, young , male staff was very rude, slow and racists. There was a long line and he was just chatting in there. Then they just left my food in the shelf again, they serve a $7 sandwich with big hole in the center! Not happy!
Go somewhere else!
Paid for very expensive $18 chicken sandwich! They keep giving wrong orders and they just left it on the shelf!
Waste of time, money and effort!
Paid $20 for a small chicken sandwich! The food was very expensive and not good.
Go somewhere else!
Their young, white, female staff charged me with $10 for half sandwich, refused my order request. Not happy.
Go somewhere else!

I'm usually very fair when I even bother to review a location, so take this as you may. I literally just walked out, and I'm not a very happy customer. I haven't even taken the time to try the cookies I bought. This rating is solely based on the service. I went in with the intention to just buy (prepackaged) cookies but saw on their menu that they had a lavender milk tea (sounds refreshing). Thus, I ordered one. I normally give cash tips after a service has been rendered, so I opted out of the prompted tip option on the register, my receipt printed, and the order for the tea, at exactly 3:03pm. A few minutes went by, and my name was not called. Meanwhile, customers that came after me are getting their drinks. I approached an associate and asked for my drink, and they claimed the order didn't print. I was called for my order at 3:22pm.
Is it possible that my order didn't print? Perhaps, except I saw it, and it was put on the side. Was the delay the result of not leaving the tip before the service was even provided?
Regardless, it's not quite the best first impression when you have to wait 20 min for a simple drink.

Best place ever for English muffins
I been here few times but every time something is wrong, unfortunately bad service
Food is always good. Staff are responsive, friendly but professional.
I visited Scratch Bakery at Fashion Island on Saturday and was disappointed because my Turkey Avocado sandwich was slight on avocado.
I posted a review with my order number and they took the sandwich off my bill .
I appreciate their prompt and understanding response.
So I will definitely visit their establishment again when I’m in town .
As I said the sandwich was fine , I just expected avocado to be more . I know I should have said something at the time but I was tired and facing a two hour drive home to the desert .
High expectations for Scratch Bakery, especially given its location in Fashion Island, but this visit was disappointing.
I originally ordered a ham omelette, then changed it to bacon only—no potatoes, just extra bacon for more protein, and paid the additional meat charge. When the food arrived, it was ham with extra ham. I told the server, and he took it back.
The manager then returned with the same omelette and said he could add bacon, but only for an additional charge. I explained again that I didn’t want ham at all, just bacon. He responded, “I didn’t get that part,” and offered no apology, no remake—just silence.
This isn’t how a mistake should be handled, especially by management. When a customer clearly explains an issue, the correct response is to fix it—not to offer an upcharge for something they already paid for.
