I've come here twice now, both times on a Friday. The 12$ oysters draw me in. My friend and I like to sit on the patio with our dogs. The beer/wine are both good deals and they have daily food specials. The service is typically great. The only complaints I have are the amount of shell pieces still in the oysters and both times ordering the oysters, they have taken a super long time to come to my table. Like over 30 min each time.
HOLY GUACAMOLE ! On Saturday we decided to beat the heat by shopping exclusively at this Whole Foods Market starting with lunch right here. My wife and I thought our first lunch visit here a couple of weeks ago was spot on so a return visit was on the cards. After parking our wheels in the huge Fashion Island undercover parking garage we simply walked across to the Back Bay Tavern and entered via a side door. LOVELY AND COOL ! NICE LUNCH ! My wife and I hit this Whole Foods Market in Newport Beach on Saturday morning for most of our weekly grocery needs. It was pouring down rain when we arrived and when we left....thankfully the Fashion Island huge multi level parking garage is straight across the street.
