We spent the first part of spring break in Newport Beach with our teen aged sons and their friends. We had some dietary considerations so wanted to find places to eat that were sensitive to nut allergies and tasty vegan dishes. West Coast Deli had some really nice reviews, and so we tried them and were very happily surprised that it was even better than expected! Manager Josh was super warm and helpful and sensitive to our needs, and the staff made some superbly tasty food! Great sourcing and recipes! All of the sandwiches were outstanding, and our hard to please vegan was very happy! I cannot recommend them highly enough! Go and check them out!Dietary restrictions: great vegan choices!

Ordered the Meddock Melee sandwich delivered thru Doors Dash - Big Bummer.The sauce they put on the sandwich is too watery and soaks the bottom bun. So you end up spending $15 + for a Soggy WET Sandwich :(Overall we didnt enjoy the flavors and the Squaw ciabatta was sour instead of sweet.Big bummer. They are better options out there.

Great staff and food. Stopped in to pickup lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and whoever the gentlemen working the counter was, was awesome. Super welcoming and on top of it. Sandwiches were very good. Well worth the price. Try it if you’re in town.

Mediocre at best.I've tried all the bread, and it's not the freshest. Come on for 12 dollars, they should bake their own bread. Bear Flag can make a seafood burrito with avocado for about the same price. Over priced, if you want a good sandwich hit My Galley or Cest si Bon
