Visited Sol in Newport for the first time today, this was top to bottom one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve been to in Newport! The atmosphere of sitting by the bay with some delicious margaritas was a great way to spend a Saturday evening. As we walked in we were greeted by Sarah who made us feel warm & welcomed. I miss this place. I went whenever I was in town. It’s been a few years, but my Favs were ahi chowder, Cioppino, and especially Grandma Jill’s Meatloaf(a little taste of home for a weary traveler!) The atmosphere was always warm and inviting, a home away from home. Thanks for many a nice dinner, and one of my fondest memories of Newport Beach, Misty! Keep the faith!!
