And it was disgusting. Guac tasted old. Meat was chewy and all fat. Already had a terrible experience before. I'm a fool for going back. Will not make the same mistake again.

Got a breakfast burrito this morning and it was not edible. I was so excited for a good breakfast burrito and this burrito was so charred I couldn’t eat it. I took two bites and threw it out. it was so bad I was mad I wasted 10 dollars on something I couldn’t even try and eat and i’m not picky

So, I will start out by saying Tacos & Co has been one of my go-to places since moving to Newport Beach area. Their food has always been good and enjoyed by myself, my family, and friends I have introduced them to. A coworker and I used to frequent them weekly for lunch and enjoyed it every time. However, within the past 10+ months, I've noticed the quality and care of the food getting worse. I stopped going as frequently as before to the point where I just stopped going, until yesterday where I decided to try them out again after taking roughly two months off. Ordered the Carnitas Taco Trio with beans, salad and chips. Salsa bar was good as always and the food came out quickly as has always been the norm. The meal wasn't great, though. - Carnitas was dry where I was having to take a drink after every bite. It tasted good flavor-wise, but it was just super-dry. - Flour taco shells were stale. Not stale enough to break apart, but stale enough where you had to bite with force and tear away. - The chips tasted like they had been cooked/fried (not sure proper term) in old, old grease. The color of the chips were desaturated and almost like they had been dipped in a charcoal-water bath. Other than the color, they looked fine - and were crisp, however they tasted really really burned. Enough to where I actually had to put the chips aside because they tasted so acrid. - And the final experience of my meal was when I was eating the beans, I found a broken-off piece of plastic in them. Tacos & Co uses plastic cutlery, which I don't mind. But comparing the broken-off piece of plastic to the fork I was using, it looks like a tong (one of the end spikes on the fork) had broken off from a different fork (not the one I was using) and somehow made its way into my beans (?). That just put me off the rest of the meal, and I discarded it in the trash and left. I sincerely hope that the owners/operators of Tacos & Co read this review and don't take it personally, but instead as constructive criticism. I really liked Tacos & Co and have been a supporter of the business in the past. It saddens me to see the quality dropping in the business, and I hope this can be used by them to improve.

Gave these guys a short notice order for an office working overtime and boy did they deliver! Everyone enjoyed the crispy tacos and chips and salsa. Everything was made fresh and customer service was excellent. We will be back with more office orders, but with plenty of notice next time - thank you for the quick turnaround today! You made a lot of people happy. :)

You left out an entire item, my Tortillas for my fajitas and I only got Carne asada and shrimp but no chicken even tho I paid $7 extra to get all three meat. Ig you're out of chicken. Also the Carne asada was mostly fat. I'm more hungry than I was before I ate your food.

Worst crispy chicken taco I've ever had. The shell was soggy and stale. I saw him warming it up on the grill before filling with the tasteless chicken and sparse fillings. Disappointed I had been wanting to try this place for a long time. Definitely won't go back.

I ordered 2 Gordo burritos for lunchtime the other day and they were perfect and delicious so I decided to order from here again for dinner.I ordered around 8:30pm and they close at 9pm so granted they were about to close so maybe they were in a rush and i get it but I don't think that justifies the low level food quality... the burritos were a soggy mess with grease and salsa dripping from the tortillas and the steak had an off texture and extra chewy and the chips were stale and the salsa tasted off too and for tacos I asked for flour but still got corn tortillas.I was hoping for a repeat of the great burritos I had for lunch but instead I got something completely opposite and I hate when restaurants lack consistency and it's like a gamble every time you order.Maybe I will just order for lunch if I decide to eat here again.
I've been delivering from here all day. Got off shift and pulled up at 6:50 pm. The lights were on door unlocked and open sign on. I was told I couldn't be served since they are closing at 7. Word of advise lock up and turn off open sign if your not willing to serve people. I will not be back.

if i had the choice to only eat this breakfast burrito again or to never eat a breakfast burrito again, i would choose to never eat one. I ordered the sausorito burrito with no cheese. what should've come in the burrito was egg, onions, peppers and sausage, instead i got cheese, which i am allergic to and egg. nothing else wrapped in the burrito. do not eat from here. i am so upset i spent 20 dollars on this meal and the only thing that was decent was the churro bites.

If you are passing through the area, pick a diff spot. The chips are atrociously bad for a taco shop. My recommendation would be to find a new distributor. My big complaint is the ceviche, I ordered shrimp. I could individually pick each ingredient out, it was SO dry. "It's not a cocktail ma'am". I asked for my money back and the cashier was very rude from that moment on. A rush came in and instead of giving me the refund, he helped the 4 people that walked in. Every single one of their salsas have zero flavor. The chunky mild tasted like watered down ketchup with canned tomatoes chopped up in it. More like SAD &. Co
