The food was so preppy and delicious 😋 our favorite food was the garlic cheese bread. Brendan our server was so kind. 10 out of 10! (Moana, age 11)

Not anything like it used to be. It was terrible. They could not even get the kids grilled cheese right ( it was previously grilled bread and the cheese was raw and unmelted).

Two friends and I went to The Old Spaghetti Factory in Newport Beach two weeks ago in order to celebrate my birthday. The host quickly seated us at a booth, and within minutes our server came over.

I explained that it was my birthday and asked how to use the birthday coupon that had been emailed to me. He rolled his eyes and explained it to me. He never once wished me a happy birthday or acknowledged that it was my birthday. Instead, as he explained the coupon, he watched the much larger group that was being seated at tables right next to us, who also had a birthday to celebrate.

Needless to say, he focused all of his time and energy on that much larger party. He completely neglected and ignored us, in spite of us waving and calling to him when he was with the large party. In fact, he only returned to us once during the entire time we were there, and that was to return our check and credit card. The rest of the time, we had to flag down any employee we could for drink refills, ice cream and to-go boxes (which we waited for, but never received either of), and even to get our bill.

Overall, it was a very aggravating and unpleasant experience, and certainly put a damper on what was supposed to be a happy evening.

While we may decide to return to the restaurant in future because we enjoy the food, we will never again go there to celebrate a special occasion.

This old spaghetti factory is pretty nice it has a great interior and exterior and the food was amazing and very fast! But my root bear was only filled 1/3 full the rest was ice

It's a blast from my past, I used to go all the time. Food is still good and the drink menu is better than I remember.

We went on a weekday night and got seated about 2 minutes after arriving. Unfortunately it took my mother another 6 minutes to make it in due to the valet. Otherwise the food was good, my fettucine Alfredo lacked flavor but everything else was good.

The host and girls working in front lied about the order being prepared so their coworkers could walk around and say the order name while I was waiting. Very immature and unprofessional.
