I had the cracked Dungeness crab and it didn't disappoint. It was fresh and sweet and exactly the way cracked crab should be! The Manhattan clam chowder is also very good, rich and hearty with great chowder flavors. Everyone's order was exactly what they wanted, from the fish to the shrimp it was spot on! When visiting New Port Beach, try one of the seafood restaurants in the area. We tried the Crab Cooker near the Pier, and it was good and reasonably priced. Try scallops or soft shell crab.

Finally got a chance to make it out to the reopened Crab Cooker in Newport Beach. This restaurant is a Newport Beach institution. I picked up a large clam chowder, breadsticks and a coke to take back to work.
