I love a lot of burger places, but TK burger is by far my favorite. I LOVE IT and the vibe inside SOOO MUCH!! When I was in town for a week, I literally got it everyday. It is just a perfect cheeseburgers burger, love the fries and onion rings as well. I'm sad I do not have one by me. The price is right as well, good deal for a combo meal!! If you do not go to TK burger while in the beach towns, you've missed out!! Service is fast and friendly, chill interior and THE BEST BURGER !!!!

Not fancy, just perfect. Fresh, juicy burgers with that real charbroiled flavor, crispy fries, and a classic beach vibe. Staff is fast and friendly. The place is small and simple, but that’s what makes it great pure SoCal burger spot done right.

I ordered the grilled cheese and that was a mistake. It was literally two squished hamburger buns, not even toasted or anything, with melted American cheese in the middle. I could’ve stepped behind the counter and make it myself if I wanted to, and I should’ve for the price I payed. I’m super disappointed I was expecting more

Very disappointed.
Had a great day at the beach and stopped in at TK since their food is always good. I was lucky enough to grab a seat inside while waiting for my order. While I was seated, Maggie informed me there would be no more dine-in service for the rest of the night. I respected that and remained seated quietly until my food was ready.
However, as I stood up to grab my order and condiments to-go, I noticed another gentleman receive his food and then sit down to eat—right in the spot I had just vacated. Maggie didn’t say anything to him.
I approached her and explained my confusion, as I had been told there was no more dine-in. She told me he must’ve arrived before the policy changed. I pointed out that wasn’t possible—he was sitting in the exact spot I had been in moments earlier.
I completely understand the need to prepare for closing, but I don’t understand the double standard. It left a sour note on what was otherwise a great day.

The only spot to grab a burger after a surf. Get the combo with fries burger and soda and it’s pretty cheap. Onion rings are great too!
This is the OG beach burger shop where you can still have a wetsuit on and order. All the pretty girls in high school used to work here!
Lady snatched the money out of my hand so fast also the cook comes over and makes a comment towards me but the cashier waves him off with a ouh stop. Will not be coming back to this business

Great burgers!
It be good.
Advertised they close at 9pm, refused service at 8:49. Don’t advertise you close at 9 if you close early. It’s not up to customers to guess if you close 1hr, 30mins or 15 mins before closing. Either pay the staff to begin close down after 9pm, or advertise the ACTUAL time you close. It’s terrible for the economy and dismal service!
It is great to see that, after all these years, TK is still serving up the best burgers at a decent price.
Aging myself here, but lived off E. Balboa, towards the end of the peninsula, when I was UCI student from '07 - '08. TK Burgers was a regular spot for us on the weekends, romping on the beach.
I left California after graduating, but work just so happened to bring me back to the area. Walking in there, for the first time in 15 years, felt like I warped back to my college days. The decor, the food, the vibes, all remained the same. Was so happy to experience it again.
At the risk of sounding sappy, TK holds a special place and I was grateful to see they've held onto those roots and are still serving up great food, at a reasonable price, right off the beach.
You can get a whole meal thst tastes even better, for less than the cost of a single burger at Five Guys. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Newport.
They do take card someone said cash only
