Decent food, nice location very quaint. The food is decent nothing exciting but refreshing. Wish there were more biscuits, the smoked salmon was good and heuvos rancheros was good as well worth trying. We had coffee that was alright.

Not fancy, what you would expect in a Mississippi fine dining establishment. Lived the vibe and the Jumbalyla-sp.

A refreshing alternative for those who miss or want to enjoy a southern themed menu. Friendly service, food presentation was first class, and many menu choices. I am a carrot cake snob, so being impressed by their version was a pleasant surprise.

Small but excellent location, such great food and excellent drinks! This was our first time with Victoria serving us, and she was outstanding!

My wife and I had lunch with her grandson and his wife. The menu was filled with multiple choices and this was just the lunch menu. We looked at the dinner menu (and Happy Hour from 5 to 6) and there were even more great choices. The food was exceptional. My salmon with the salmon salad was generous and delicious. The jumbalaya was very good and so was the shrimp and grits. The bloody Mary was the "best ever" and the sparkling wine was top quality. Our waitress Jess was very attentive and personable. We were extremely satisfied with our whole experience.

The food was very good and a surprisingly good value, but recommended anybody looking for southern food you.

This is one of our favorite spots for special brunches - birthdays, congratulatory events, etc.... The food is delicious and the service friendly and professional. Best biscuits in Newport Beach.

What a joy! This cute spot is off the main drag but worth the extra few steps. Great food first and foremost. Attentive staff and delightful patio dining available. We will be back- we had the Pork Chop, lobster bisque, pork sloppy Joe's, cheddar pinwheel and fried green tomatoes. It was amazing. So grateful for finding this gem.

This is a great place to eat in Balboa. Southern style cooking and they nail it. Very cool atmosphere and the price is fair for such high quality food.

We just love this restaurant for many reasons. HH menu is the best in Newport, the fun drinks like Paloma, the delicious spiral cheese muffins, and of course the best fried pickles in Newport! We always like to dine in the small patio, complete with string lights, and its dog friendly>>>>>Perfect!

Quaint cozy place. Definite will return. Service was great and food was plenty testy and drinks a great variety.

By far, the best lunch/brunch I had. Food tasted delicious. It felt like I'm having a homemade meal that was made with lots of love. 💕 highly recommend locals or visitors just like myself.

Tantalizing to the taste buds. Crafty Lil place bordering on pretentious.

Great cajun/southern food. Typical hole in the wall/bar ambiance.
