Omgoodness. Fresh, tender and tasty is the only way to describe the expertly crafted sushi and WaSa Sushi & Teppan. We lucked out to have the head sushi chef create our meal. I definitely recommend the sushi instead of the rolls. The rolls were good but a little heavy on the rice while the fish and rice balance on the succulent sushi was perfect. Pricey but worth it.

We came in to dine Tuesday evening after finding out Wasa recently extended their teppan days! We ordered from their daily specials, which was a teppan Tuesday fixed menu. Went with the steak option for $24 (chicken is available for $20), which included a choice of soup or salad, scallops and prawns, veggies, your choice of protein, fried rice and ended with delicious ice cream for dessert. Can't find those prices anywhere around. I couldn't believe the portion sizes...

Very enjoyable chef and sous chefs. Sushi is very fresh, well-presented, but fish slices are a little thin and less generous than some of their competitors. Service was very prompt.
