4.2/5 stars. It is hard to beat the setting offered by Wilma’s. The decor is inviting and on theme with beautiful Balboa Island. Staff are super friendly and food was delivered quickly and hot. We ordered eggs Benedict and huevos rancheros. Wish the food were a match for the setting, but that wasn’t the case. On par with most beach food.
Wilma's Patio is a nice restaurant on Balboa Island. There restaurant is spacious and has plenty of seats. The menu has food items for different palates. You will find something to satisfy your cravings.
I got the fried zucchini sticks for my appetizer, which was delish!!! The house ranch was yummy. I always appreciate homemade ranch. I got the prime rib dip with house fries (the best fries), and my husband got the Reuben sandwich. Nice portion and, and everything...

We had the fish and chips and some beer flights. Overall, the food was decent, and the vibe was relaxed. Our only issue was the parking, but there isn't much you can do about that being on balboa.
