The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the sushi and small plates. Definitely one of the best spots in the area for Japanese food, can’t wait to come back!
I did not realize this restaurant had changed owners because the name is still the same, so I came in expecting the place it used to be which was phenomenal. Unfortunately, the quality and overall experience have definitely changed. The fish itself seemed fresh, but there was an overwhelming floral/perfume-like taste and smell in the food that made the meal really unpleasant. First off, going inside, it was very cozy and decide was simple and clean.
They seemed to have 2-3 tables including myself but the service seemed to take forever. Maybe they were understaffed. I ordered some maki’s and some sushi and they all came out warm temperature. It took around 25 minutes for the first food to come out.
Their draft beer was great.
