This used to be my favorite place to come and get tamales. Now the service has became poor the tamales are overpriced, and they're just not as tasty. And they just don't give you good service.I mean, for fifty bucks 42 people.I would assume that the service would be a little bit better and the food would be just a little bit more tasty. But I must say the lady on the corner of devonshire and so pulvedre, her tamales are a lot better than this location, and they're cheaper, maybe a few cents, but it is what it is

The good at Wow Tamales was fantastic. Like the typical dork that I am, I ordered a Torta instead of a Tamale plate, but it was absulety worth it.

¡Muchas gracias por la comida y hasta luego!

This is the best tamales in the San Fernando Valley? That's not saying much. I haven't had a decent tamale in the entire area yet and this place falls short as well.

The dessert tamales were a standout—especially the strawberry cream cheese one, which was incredibly decadent and perfectly sweet. They also had a corn tamale that was simple but so delicious and satisfying.

On the savory side, the tacos and tamale plate were packed with flavor and tasted fresh and authentic. The breakfast plate was another highlight, especially with the verde sauce adding a tangy, savory kick that tied everything together beautifully.

The customer service was very nice and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

Overall, a great spot for both sweet and savory tamales—definitely worth checking out if you’re craving something hearty and delicious!

Saw advertisement on internet. Looked and sounded great. Was in LA next day. Stopped in. Parking bucks. Atmosphere there isn't ant. Service felt like it was an inconvenience. Food, Vallarta Market tamales were better. Did not look like advertisement at all. Beans have to be cheap canned. Rice was plain. Chips tasted burnt.

The best tasting tamales in the valley. But the price is ridiculous 5 bucks for one tamale is not affordable. I bought 20 tamales for 100 bucks !!!!!
The are is located in is not the best area the parking lot is very small and it's hard to get in and out of that parking lot.

The tamales are always good, I haven't had a bad experience yet...knock on wood. The employees that work there are always friendly and do their best to give recommendations based on your needs. I needed tamales for a party that was 2 days away and they recommended I purchased the cold tamales they already have ready to go. They assured me the tamales woukd be good for a whole week. And they were right, 5 days later and the tamales still taste good and haven't gone bad. Obviously if you freeze them they can last longer. Only reason why I gave 4 stars is because they no longer offer their order ahead service. I tried to call to place the order ahead of time and they said they no longer do that. So I have to wake up early to make sure I got the tamales I needed for my party. Was there at 5am, and luckily they had what I needed. Again overall good experience.

I love this tamale place but the most recent order I placed was not pleasing. The tamales I ordered were mushy and raw they seemed microwaved for it being a lot of money.i spent around 40 for 5 tamales and drinks this is outrageous and makes no sense. Service is horrible they do not know how to attend guest they are rude, horrible attitude.DONT COME HERE FOR A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND A hole thru your wallet for miserable food.

First time coming here after watching it on Instagram and I was pleasantly surprised! The business is at the busy intersection at Sepulveda and Nordhoff and you can definitely miss it but don't!

The staff was super 10 stars 🌟 nice! They gave us a complimentary sweet corn tamale that was 🔥!

The food options won't disappoint either! Tamales, breakfast burritos and more!

I had the carne asada breakfast burrito and it was very filling and had alot of rice and beans. I think a little more balance with the eggs and asada and it would've been perfect but I'm being picky!

I enjoyed this place and recommend!
