“I had low expectations, but the fish taco was extraordinary. Generally, casino food court food (Pechanga, Caesar's Palace, Venetian) is mediocre at best. I ordered a fish taco. The fish was not battered and deep fried. No ... pan fried and not overcooked as is often the base. Well presented as well.“

“I see ‘I never leave reviews’ comments all the time, but for me, it’s true. If I’ve left two reviews in the last 15 years, I’d be surprised. Jalisco’s restaurant on Indian Canyon between Dillon Rd and I-10 is obviously the exception. It sits next to a tire shop of the same name, I’m not sure if Jalisco’s is a family name or represents the food of Jalisco Mexico.
I can say, the restaurant is immaculate, it’s clean and neat, the restroom is spotless and the service is wonderful. Everyone I talked to was helpful, happy, and genuinely interested in helping me decide on what I’d like to order, making recommendations and suggestions based on what I requested.
Mexican is my favorite breakfast food. I judge each restaurant on its huevos rancheros. The best I’ve ever found is John’s, on north Palm Canyon in Palm Springs. Their rancheros sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Jalisco’s is new to me, I’ve only been there three times, but it was so good, it made me want to write a review.
Their huevos rancheros with carne asada and guacamole is different than I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant, but it was outstanding. Completely different than John’s, but in an amazing way. Definitely equal to John’s, but different.
The papatas bravos with sunny side up egg was great as an appetizer or if you’re looking for a smaller breakfast meal. Roasted potatoes and eggs, what’s not to like. I would add a second egg the next time I ordered it though.
I had the Birriaquiles With Egg this morning. It comes with one egg, I asked for a second, which was perfect. Basically chilaquiles with beef birria, and egg(s) on top. It comes with a bit of verde sauce, but the consume sauce took it over the top. Beef was tender and juicy, without being soaked. Two eggs were perfect, and the tortilla chips were spot on. It was a big breakfast though, easily enough for two people. I took half of mine home.
There are lots of menu items I wasn’t familiar with, that may be the Jalisco influence. I can say though, this is a must visit restaurant and every aspect bangs up against a 5 star rating. Please visit and enjoy.“
