Went to the Northridge store for dinner last night for the first time. The food was okay but that place was absolutely filthy. We will never go back

The food was great. But the costumer service was horrible. We were one of the 3 or 4 costumers there and they took 40 minutes to bring our food for 3 people. They had made a mistake on one of the foods and did not include an item that came with a combo. They took another 15 minutes to bring our drinks which www just two refreshers. The napkin holders were empty. All tables around us were diagusting and the cashier was standing there scrolling on his phone. It was ridiculous.

I’ve been a longtime fan of Corner Bakery Café, but my recent visit was really disappointing. The portion sizes have noticeably gone way down, and the quality of the food just isn’t what it used to be.

Extremely rude and intimidating supervisor — unacceptable behavior
I had a terrible experience at Corner Bakery Northridge with a supervisor named Jorge. He was rude, passive-aggressive, and tried to pressure me into writing a “good” review for corporate, saying I wouldn’t be allowed to stay if I didn’t. When I said that in America everyone has the right to express their opinion honestly, he became defensive and acted overly aggressive — trying to show off his authority instead of de-escalating.
It felt intimidating, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate for someone in management. No customer should ever be treated this way. I hope corporate seriously reviews this incident because it left a very negative impression of this location.

No air conditioning, no fans. It was at least 100° inside & outside. Only one employee at counter & one in the back cooking. It took about 25 minutes to get my 1 bakery item that I ordered. He could have handed it to me as soon as I ordered but I had to wait for him to process the previous orders. He didn't look happy that he was alone and when he was grabbing my pastry, he rubbed the wax paper all over the counter. Why are you taking your anger out on me when you're in a bad mood because your restaurant is understaffed and it's hot?

I had an uber eats order and called to ask for salsa and ketchup and they added it with no worries! Workers are super sweet! :)

Very disappointed. The Corner Bakery has always had quality food. I don't know what happened. I ordered food to be delivered through Uber. Eats not only did they forget my turkey sandwich, but the pasta was incredibly terrible. It was cold watered down, sour and clumps of mozzarella cheese that were not even melted. I had to throw it in the trash then. When I called the store, the phone kept ringing and ringing. Nobody wanted to answer. It probably because it was twenty minutes before closing. Serve crappy food and don't answer the phone. Good business strategy looks like this place went downhill.

This location picked up 4 order kiosks (totally unnecessary for a community restaurant). CBC is known for their fantastic customer service, why go and ruin that with a digital format? Food was great.
