I am a sandwich girly, and this place was so yummy I could cry ? the turkey was high quality, the bread was soft and chewy and all the ingredients were fresh. The tomato salad is just as good as what I have heard. The ambience is old school and that’s part of the character of the store. It reminds me of my childhood and I feel like a kid. It’s a homey warm feeling. ♥️ I also had never been there before and I had two sweet ladies help me. Great good, great environment, and great service.

My family and I have been coming here for OVER 50 YEARS! This place cannot be beat!!! Whenever we fly back to LA, we always make sure to visit Rose and get our sandwiches! Do not pass this place up... you will be hooked. Best sandwiches, best staff, fabulous everything!

I’ve been eating subs from My Hero since 1972! THE best subs I’ve eaten, ever. Moved through the years, and always went to My Hero’s when within 5 hours by car to where I was staying! The high quality of their food has never waivered! The buns are soft, yet chewy! The tomato salad in each sandwich is always fresh! Plus they give a generous portion of the protein! My favorite has always been pastrami! Lean and tasty, everytime! The staff is welcoming and genuinely happy you are there! I’ll be going in a week as I pass through the area! Will be the highlight of my trip! Thanks My Hero for keeping the memories alive and never disappointing!

My dad went here as a college kid at CSUN and introduced it to me at a young age. I don’t live anywhere near here anymore but I go out of my way to grab a sandwich anytime I am remotely close. Can’t go wrong with a ham and cheese with the tomato salsa. I consider myself a sandwich snob and this is my favorite sandwich in the whole world. Added bonus—everyone that works there is warm and inviting and treats you like family.

I've been coming here for decades. Going to CSUN was the best because they're practically on campus. I always get a half turkey and half tuna with everything. The Italian tomato salad is key.
