I had a great time coming to this Western Bagel location this morning. I was going to be in the area to pick up my order from Portos and I wanted a bagel first. I found parking easily in the morning because the rush hasn't arrived yet. When I walked inside the store, they didn't have a lot of people in line so I was able to put in my order. I got 2 blueberry bagel, toasted and asked for cream cheese on the side. My wife wanted her cheddar jalapenos bagel so I ordered that for her. I saw on their website that they have croissant here so I ordered that as well but after the person started toasting my bagel, he asked another employee and she said they don't have croissant anymore. I ate my bagel when we got home and I thought it was pretty good. My wife liked her cheddar jalapenos bagel as well.

Leslie A++++ service!
Even took the time to fold my lettuce to be round on the hot turkey bagel sandwich. I've been here a few times and have never seen that before. might seem stupid, but it's the little things that mean the most. She cared about my sandwich or made it seem that way, haha.
Either way, I definitely will be back for another sandwich, specifically because of that.
Keep up the great work!

They have no sense of urgency at that place. A worker didnt want to help me because he wanted to help his friend in line that was next. So I had to wait. Also expired food on the shelves. It made me think I had the same thing yesterday was it expired.
Come here if you want to wait in line 30 minutes for a bagel while only one or two people are working.

Fantastic service, the people that took our order and made our bagels were incredibly kind, patient, and polite. Bagels are delish, also the cream cheese here is especially great. Great place to go whether you are getting a quick bite or stuff to bring home. :)

The Northridge location is so on point. BTW, just like Encino, Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Mission Hills, and the mothership on Sepulveda Blvd. The food, staff, everything is cared about and delivered with the highest standards this chain is known for. Amazing staff and management. Rocky is so cool and really appreciated. Phenomenal vibe. Thanks kindly, Coach Steven

Good bagels, especially when fresh. But it's pretty slow and a little disorganized when it's busy (like Saturday and Sunday mornings).

I ordered two chocolate chip bagels and one chocolate milk from DoorDash. I was highly disappointed. They forgot my milk. But not only that, they gave me blueberry bagels instead of chocolate chip. What is going on??? Are the staff not being properly trained? I used to love eating from here but they’re slowly ruining it for me.

Western Bagel has always been known for good bagels so today I decided to get a bagel breakfast and some additional bagels for later. My bill was a total of $32.13 including tax. I got 6 bagels, bagel with egg and bacon, cream cheese and an orange juice. Wow!! It's very expensive. Having to pay these prices makes me want to demand attentive, clean and tidy employees because it doesn't cost the workers much to be presentable and clean at all times.I also want to say that the staff was not concerned that there was a line forming. They still moved very slowly and gave the excuse that they were short staffed. There were 4 very capable people working but mainly goofing off, making jokes, and wanting to converse amongst themselves rather than their very willing to pay high prices customers. It's very sad to see how the younger generations are becoming less interested in proper conduct and courtesy. Hourly rates are going up to try and meet the cost of living but the help works less for more money. The other thing I noticed is that the crew was not neat and tidy in their personal hygiene. The person that helped me had very black dirty fingernails while serving me. One hand had a glove but the other did not. How do we know if their hands have even been washed if the long nails look like they haven't been washed for days. Western Bagel, put more interest in your help because they are a reflection of your establishment. Don't take your customers for granted.

Love this place but it gets crowded. Order on the app to save time. Last time girl was rude but thats not normal and guessing it was due to holiday rush.
