Yamaha Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar

We’ve been coming to this sushi spot regularly, and it’s safe to say it’s become one of our favorites. It’s a low-key place with a relaxed atmosphere, but don’t let the casual vibe fool you — the food is consistently fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The rolls are creative without being over-the-top, and the classic options are always done right. The fish is high quality, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve.

One of the best parts is the pricing. Compared to some of the trendier sushi restaurants in town, this place offers incredible value. You get generous portions and great flavor without the inflated price tag. Whether we’re grabbing a quick dinner during the week or bringing friends on the weekend, it always hits the spot.

The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the ambiance makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. The only real downside is the parking — it can be a bit tight or hard to find during busy times. But honestly, the food is good enough that we don’t mind the minor inconvenience.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for quality sushi without the fuss.

Recently, the restaurant has cut some corners and the quality of the food had decreased significantly. The fish, and beef are not the same cuts as last year. Too bad because it was a decent spot.

I ordered a Salmon roll through door dash but when I received it, I noticed that it was missing avocado. I also ordered the Hawaiian roll and the tuna was pretty dry and not as fresh.

Came here on the suggestion of a friend. Was not disappointed. I love all you can eat sushi spots, and this one did not disappoint. Parking is easy here, service is quick (came here on a Thursday night) and the food is great. I don’t live in the valley so it was refreshing to try a new-to-me sushi spot!

Parking: You should be able to find parking but it is a small lot shared with other businesses.

I am an old man and vegan since I was born.
I never go to Sushi Restaurant.
I normally bought sushi packed in asian market in Monterypark.
MY favorite is California avocado and I take a picture.
I try to find Sushi shop near by go Yamaha near my home and I show the picture, and asked can you make like this and the lady show menu and I am glad to order.
As vegan man I found this place is great for vegan sushi.
He can made for vegan sushi Huh I am coming back and taste good. He has non sewed sushi. The price is inexpensive also.
Great Avocado Sushi !!!! Next time I will dine in.

It’s not bad, but the food has an odd taste and the back door was wide open. The sushi was very obviously not fresh. Overall an odd place.

Very good food got the bento box. Food is super fresh I am not a sushi fan but the person I went with is and she says the sashimi is to die for also the sweet shrimp is really good . But everything that isn't seafood or sushi is very spot on delicious as well

Service is great! And they are very generous with the fish slices in/on the sushi. Haven’t found another sushi place that offers the same portion and taste.
