Ive eaten at every mexican restaurant in novato id say this is either the most authentic or the 2nd in novato, food is deliouse and they have tons have options.. hands down best salsa in town, great tacos and awsome sope! And ive brought my gf to 3 or 4 mexican places in novato this is the only one she approves of haha!!
Muy sabrosa la comida
My Dads favorite place and mine too. Since I work in Novato now its the place to go. Friendly staff. Great tacos and large meals for a good price.
Decent burritos, was stopping by on my way to Healdsburg to pick up some home made tacos. I would certainly recommend for someone looking for cheaper products and mexican
Good food, usually not a long wait. Service could be better.
The restaurant itself would be considered more of a "escape to little Mexico" experience, it is not exactly your fantasy like romantic dinner with a candlelit table and waiter in a tuxedo attending to your every wish and desire. Attached to a Hispanic market, this small restaurant has a very El Salvadorian feel to it, almost like your in Cuba or Mexico ordering from the heart of the community. They serve me the best carne asada burritos I have ever had. Bonita mujeres y tambien! You just have to communicate what you expect in a good burrito, for instance- only 1$ extra you can add more meat, it tastes much better well done, light rice, extra pico de gallo, and wala the perfect burrito. They also provide, chips, lemon, lime, salsa, and grilled jalapenos that are amazing when heated up in the microwave. (Be careful mucho caliente!) They take a emphasis on making the customer happy, as long as you are polite and respectful, as a customer should be. I hear they're tacos are the best in town.
kind of strange because it's connected to a small mexican market but the food is quite good :) awesome torta cubano.
Restaurant used to be good about 10 years ago. I'd say it's equivalent to Taco Bell now. I still shop in the market though because they have more than the other Mexican markets in town and the prices are good.
I think that there are duplicate entries for this restaurant, so I'll be brief and state that Del Palmar is great. The food is fresh, and good. They really put effort into making these dishes. yum

Stopped in here for lunch today, because I was CRAVING a burrito, and thought I'd give this place a shot, rather than heading to my standbys, Mi Pueblo and La Hacienda. While my chicken "special" burrito was very flavorful, and the lady behind the counter was very helpful and nice, I just wasn't really all that impressed with the place. On a street with as many awesome Mexican places as Grant has, you've got to do something pretty special to keep up with the competition... Casa Del Palmar is adequate, but didn't strike me as anything special, so in the future, I'll probably stick with Mi Pueblo and La Hacienda instead.
