Every time I'm in town I make sure to hit China Palace at least once, but if I'm being honest I would go there as many times as my family will let me! The Mongolian beef is an abundant portion and some of the best I've had. Super tender, tons of flavor. If you want to feel like you've had your veggies, pair the Mongolian beef with mu shu vegetables. They're super fresh, a nice little crunch and also an abundant portion (that will last you a couple days for lunch after!). This is my favorite combo, but honestly I've never had anything I didn't thoroughly enjoy here!

Salt and pepper fish and Mongolian lamb are my go-tos. They're both consistently delicious. Their moon cakes around the autumn Moon Festival are great as well.

The quality of the food was appalling. Broccoli beef was three pieces of beef and the rest was broccoli. The sauce was thick and very sweet. The vegetables were old. The service was not good as well .

I have never not tipped before nor wanted to give less than 1 star. The service tonight was less than superb to say the least. I've been here a few times before with no issues but tonight nobody wanted to help my family. We were ignored from the time we walked in til the time we walked out, despite asking several times how long the wait would be. We did not receive water for 10mins after being seated and our server walked by our table many times helping everyone around us, even clearing dishes and packing other out while we ate our food with dry mouths. I had to take our empty glasses to the cashier to request water. The waiter told me to ask him next time as if we have to ask for the lovely service EVERYONE else received. Needless to say we were thanked nor did our waiter say goodnight while he watched us walk out.
The food is amazing and I will continue to order because good Chinese food is hard to come by in Novato but will not be dining in.
Too Much Sugar!!!! Chinese food is supposed to be balanced and Savory. This place just uses sugar. I guess I ordered donut chowmein and sugar kung Pau chicken all I can taste is sugar. Worse than Panda Express
