Had an iced Cozy Pumpkin delivered from Dr. Insomniacs and it somehow showed up tasting like fall itself—cold, creamy, and dangerously good. If this is what insomnia tastes like, count me in.

Great coffee, we did a order for 6 different drinks and when we got them none of them were marked and forgot 1 drink. I will go back mistakes happen.

What really makes this place special is the courtyard in the back with nice shady trees and quiet nooks, making it a relaxing hangout.

Nice little spot to sit outside, drink coffee and eat.

The reason I don’t give tips prior to service. Ordered a German chocolate mocha, the server gave me a drip coffee then asked me what did I order. The server was laughing away as she was spraying syrup from a broken syrup pump, no apology for making an inadequate drink, just here’s your half done drink. I can’t make this up! I am glad that I used a gift card, I wouldn’t spend my cash here.

We really like the vibe in this place: friendly, down to earth, neighborhood-style. Great outdoor seating with plenty of space. Lots of food options, and you get a good value.

This coffee shop is a must-visit in Novato!
Their Tuxedo coffee, a delicious white and black chocolate mocha, is clearly a local favorite. They also boast a great selection of tasty smoothies and a large menu with plenty of breakfast options. Despite a steady line of customers, even on weekdays, service is extremely fast – both food and coffee are ready in no time! While the scrambled eggs were a bit bland and the sandwich was just okay, the exceptional drinks and speedy, yet friendly, service make this a fantastic and relaxing spot.

I might’ve given this all five stars if the staff had been kind or friendly. This was my first time here which was obvious because I was not familiar with the menu boards or their coffee selection. There were a young man working and a woman working. Neither seem to be glad I was here. They were abrupt with their answers and seemed very annoyed with me. I know this is a popular place, but I can eat at home and find good food to eat there. Part of going out is having a kind of person greet me.
This was definitely not that. Not even close.

I guess they are going on 30 years or so now. I remember when they opened. The best coffee drinks in Marin then and now.

The staff is lovely. Lots of family working here and when Im feelin myself I always get the scruffin its like a combo of a scone amd a muffin and it never dissapoints. I love coming here to work on my laptop, the setting is lovely and they have a great tea selection. You also cant go wrong with the smoothie options. Large menu and close to the smart train. Best coffee shop in Novato in my opinion.

Went in about 6am, no other customers yet, the one lady that was working was mean, and impolite. No reply to me saying goodmoring, or anything ,including my order. Never going back to such a miserable place again.
