Hidden Jewel!!
Very generous portions of very fresh ingredients, very well prepared. The service is very polite and friendly, with dishes brought to your table within (and often considerably less than) a minute after leaving the wok, often too piping hot to eat right away. The prices are very modest, indeed - an absolute bargain in the overheated world of Marin restaurant prices. The Dragon Cafe is a family-run, non-fancy restaurant that serves excellent Chinese food with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant offers consistently good lunch plates and generous portions at reasonable prices, making it a great local option. While the small dining room is best suited for takeout, the staff are quick and friendly, providing real home-cooked meals that fill both the heart and soul. The orange chicken, mongo beef, and pork or chicken mixed vegetable dishes are highly recommended for their delicious taste. Although wheelchair accessibility can be a bit tricky, the staff are willing to make way to assist. Despite its modest size and simple setting, the quality of the food and the warm atmosphere make Dragon Cafe a favorite among locals.
