We enjoy going here for a late breakfast/ brunch. Food is always good and the service is very friendly. Perfect neighborhood restaurant. 😋 They have a train that goes around the ceiling, in and out of walls. They decorate the train for the seasons and the tracks are all beautifully made of wood and metal. Highly recommend.

During my visit, I saw him going to every table to check on customers, making sure everyone was happy, and even helping clean up. That kind of dedication is rare! I’ve been to Sam’s Place more times than I can count, and every visit hits the spot. The menu is huge — packed with variety — and everything is house-made, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell they put real love into their food.
What really makes this place stand out is the service. The entire staff gives off such a warm, homey vibe — they treat you like family, not just a customer. It’s easily one of the best food spots in all of Novato — consistent, cozy, and delicious.

Far too expensive for what you get, especially with better tasting, cheaper options around the same area.
