In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

I came here after reading reviews of folks being ignored. So I was searching for exactly that. Unfortunately, they recognized me as a customer and even asked what I would like. I hadn't been expecting to get called on, but I made up something on the spot. Coffee, black, in a cup. It worked. The food gets five stars, because coffee isn't really food (is it?). The atmosphere gets four because it's a Starbucks - what are you expecting? And the service gets five because...

No idea how this place has good reviews. Staff aren’t “unfriendly”, they're indifferent. One person at the register completely ignored us. The person that took the order put the wrong name on the drinks. Tables and floor were visibly dirty. General atmosphere was that of quiet disdain you’re forced to endure as there is no drive thru.

This Starbucks has lost its warmth. The staff is great, but that warm feeling you have in most staff you don't feel here anymore. Several years ago, they removed a large wooden table and remodeled it. I can't say I like what they've done.
