Presentation was good. Tried one of their lunch specials the salad was dissapoing head lettuce I tried the squid and it was like rubber very disappointing afraid I can't recommend this restaurant I won't be going

Sushi was poorly structured and falling apart. Fish was overcooked in the teriyaki roll. Wasabi and avacodo looked old. The pre made cheaper sushi at woodlands is way better. The people this "sushi" would appeal to is people who have never had sushi before.

I did a to go order. I ordered miso soup which was great but my San Francisco roll was small for a classic roll and I wasn’t given any chopsticks. I walked in for pick up, she yelled my name across the restaurant and handed it to me with zero eye contact or thanking me for my business when they were not busy at all.

It’s my first time trying sushi holic and I will never come here again. ( YOU SHOULDNT EITHER)!!!!Starting things off when I paid for my order and I’m leaving out the door The waitress stops me so I can give her a tip even though I didn’t check mark for a tip on my receipt. When I refused to tip for my order, she started demanding how could you do this? Why are you not tipping me?Was an utter shock l’ve never had anyone demand for a tip.I didn’t have the confidence to tell her the reasoning, but I hope she reads this review1. The miso soup that I received for my order wasn’t fresh.2. The sushi is overpriced for the quality that you receive.3. BE AWARE!! They will demand for a tip if it isn’t received.

I love this place because the atmosphere is lovely and either casual or can be treated as nicer if you’d like. But the real selling point for me is there vegetarian dragon roll. I live in oakland now and will drive out to Novato for this roll.
