“Every other store is at least 20 minutes the wrong direction, and then you have to drive all the way back in one lane traffic. The convenience is amazing compared to the unnecessary driving. Obviously, it caters to the Mexican cuisine, fresh veggies and some of the biggest avocados around or buy a freshly made pint of guacamole. The deli menu is scrumptious. The breakfast burritos are my daughter's favorite. You can literally park right next to the front door. The staff is ready & helpful and you know how rare that is these days. Yes, I said a lot of nice things because I shop there frequently. Lots of cold drinks, no booze but that is handled a few steps away at the neighboring store.“

“I’ve been here a few time and it’s time for a review. My usual food,this review is based on is the Cabeza and Lengua burritos. The meat doesn’t have the old meat taste, like I’ve had in other spots. I'm so glad I visited El Comal! We were so sad when the Menifee location was permanently closed. We found out today their OG location is still open only 15 min away! Best tacos we've ever had! We will be back often. It's family owned and they are the sweetest people.“

“Food was good. However, the cashiers were busy cleaning up for the night vs taking care of customers. It wasn’t late, either. It was around 7:30 or 7:45 on a Sunday. The cleaners they use are very strong. Very pinesol or something like that. Glad I got food to go because I wouldn’t want to have smelled the cleaners during dinner. Dining room had zero vibe.“

“I order the meatball sub, and turkey 9inch. Turkey was marvelous , every flavor matching well together , nothing overpowering. The meatball sub (homemade sauce with outstanding magnificent meatballs cut so can be eaten fairly well. The bread for both sandwiches held together through every bite. Sandwiches that took you into a beautiful food coma. Enjoy ?“

We have been to some other Brandon's locations, and let me tell you, we ALL agree the one on Sunnymead is the best BY FAR. From the friendliness of staff, to the amazing food cooked to perfection every time, to even the standard of cleanliness that always exceeds our expectations. This Saturday was extremely special and the staff was SO kind and helpful. Our server was Peter, and he was just the absolute best. He handled our party of approx. 30 people with such grace and attentiveness. The party would not have been the same without him. The manager, Ati, helped me set the event up and was extremely helpful. We love this Brandon's!“

If your looking for fresh, real home-cooked food, this is your spot. They are a breakfast & lunch spot, so they close at 2pm.

Dietary restrictions: The cook is very knowledgeable of what is in the food. I have gluten and dairy allergies. He worked with me to make sure I was safe to eat there. The pork was tender and juicy. The cilantro and onions were fresh and crunchy. The salsa was freshly made and just the right amount of heat. The rice and beans were loaded with flavor.
