“This was my 3rd visit here in the last couple months and the food just slaps every time. I got the chilaquiles today and I am serious when I say they are the best I’ve ever had. Beans were on point, rice was great, eggs were cooked to perfection and the sauce and homemade tortillas chips are amazing. I can see them cooking my food from where I’m sitting and it just tastes homemade and fresh. Also, the salsa is bomb. Only tried the two green ones but they are so good! Give this hidden gem a try, you will not regret it, ESPECIALLY for the amount of food you get AND the price.“

“I've been going to Los Portales for years. The food is always fresh. Despite the fact that they are often busy I always receive my order in a timely manner.
I love that I can get menudo with pata on the weekends.

“Well, the food was good after I finally got it. When I walked in it was empty, the two ladies were speaking to each other in something other than english. Just idle giggle talk but they virtually ignored me. I was ready to order and did my best to be cordial and make eye contact, still the conversation in what I assume was Chinese .continued. Finally i was asked for my order but was interrupted by more Chinese conversation. The order was started out wrong probably due to the focus on the conversation between the two, but I did not complain.I turned my back to wait for them to finish and almost walked out but decided to exercise patience. I suppose they just don't realize that their behavior by American standards is considered rude. The food was good however, I just did not feel comfortable about the service and usually NEVER complain. Contrary to popular opinion, the customer is not always right, some are just jerk-offs, but I did my best and did not deserve this. Hope this provides in the end, positive results. Again, the food was good!“

“Large portions, but you pay for it. Food was not bad. Excellent service. It sounded like if you didn’t like it, they would exchange it free-of-charge. You get a discount if you are a Soboba club member; we weren’t, but the kind waitress discounted us 10% anyway.“

“I went through the drive-thru for my order. Service was great and in a timely matter. The employee at the window was pleasant and greeted me kindly. I've gone here several times and have never had a problem whether I went inside or through the drive-thru.“

“Love this place they’re being a cheese with extra cheese at the bomb and their Cheetos burrito is the bomb as well, they’ve lowered their prices significantly since the last time I was here a year and a half ago.
