If you keep kosher, come to San Francisco and don't find a way to get here, you've wasted a food experience for the ages. We loved it so much, we came back a second time! I had hummus bowl with shawarma and lamb-beef kabobs. Simply devine, and ample portions.
I think the food here is fabulous! The pita, hummus, salads and halvah are shoulders above everyone else's. I haven't tried the sandwiches yet because the hummus bowl and pitas are so hard to resist. I've taken home the frozen pitas and containers of humus from the store, too. They are so delicious they make it very hard to want to waste the calories on the versions possibly more conveniently available everywhere else. I'm just sad they close so early, since...
