I love the food, but the new online ordering system is a mess for lunch specials - I can’t see what the options are when I try to order. Please fix this if possible!

Food would have been good if I could eat it at $36 with tip for two items. No utensils were given (duh I ordered so I could eat). Good thing I know my African roots. I would order again but bring your own utensils ?

Have had several excellent meals here. Particularly enjoy the lettuce-wrap chicken and the eggplant with tofu. Service has always been terrific.

Came here for a christmas dinner. We did make reservations ahead of time given the holiday. We arrived a few minutes early, but they were able to accommodate us gracefully given the calendar. The ambiance of a low key, quiet holiday was exactly what we were looking for! The tapas came out nice and hot, very tasty! The meal was staggered with enough time to enjoy each morsel. And we even had enough to take home for lunch the next day. Now, the true test of takeaway, the food was still heckin tasty on day two! 12 out of 10, I would recommend this place! (In fact, i already wrote home about it!)

Bleh. Had high hopes and food looked good. We had a string bean dish and the beans were a super-funky texture. The Mongolian beef was just bland. Potstickers completely average. And the coconut curry was decent, but not good enough to outweigh the others. Won't be repeating this one.

Been wanting to try this place for a nice outing while on lunch from work. Walked in, was seated immediately. Was offered a beverage and took my order. My food was hot, it did take a minute to eat but everything was made to order, even the dumplings. The salt and pepper fish & shrimp was really good, although it wasn't cod like usual. I think it was tilapia.. but all in all it was good. Would definitely go back for the lunch special.

Sorry to say NO. We ordered Hot Sour soup and got Tofu soup..no shrimp, no chicken, no beef only chunks of tofu. We ordered Kitchen Sink Chow main and got Kitchen Sink Udon noodles that was cooked in old oil. We ordered Mongolian Beef and got a beef dish that had been cooked in some duck tasting oil. Finally we ordered Sesame Beef whichIs suppose to be crispy fried beef instead we got soggy fried beef.. I think it was precooked..it was not fresh. We had to throw most of the food away.We will never return and I advise others forget it.

Date: 10/23/2023 Time: 6:30 PM 64° CoolI'm visiting a relative at Kaiser. I'm hungry and not feeling like their cafe for dinner. The closest restaurant is Bamboo. I remember China Garlic being at this location several years ago.The service is fast since there is nobody dining indoors. Entering the front entrance and it is roped off to the dining area. If you're dining in, fine. However, on orders to go, then you have to wait by the front door for the waitress to take and bring your food order. After perusing the menu quickly, I decided to order the lop cheong fried rice. I like eggplants with minced pork and garlic sauce, but I wasn't sure if that item was on the menu. Although the fried rice portion is generous and enough to feed three people, it only tasted okay. I like the sliced lop cheong, despite it being a tad salty. Well, after eating what I was able to, I have plenty of leftover fried rice. I know not to order that item again. Then no telling when I will return to Bamboo again. It's either a hit or miss.

I strolled in hungry having parked my car right out front while I went to work. The place was totally empty so I had my run of the place. I chose to sit in the back patio area which was a pleasant surprise. It was a covered patio, nicely decorated, with good music... peaceful vibes. I ordered the lunch combo and asked for my food to be vegan though I didn't specify the request for the soup that comes with all dishes. It was a crispy rice soup that tasted fresh and had nice not-too-soft veggies. It did taste like it was maybe made with chicken broth though so I didn't finish it. My massive plate of sesame tofu and fried rice was flavorful and filling. I left excessively full. Had I not been a glutton, I could have easily had two meals for about $17 after tip... something uncommon in today's economy.

Food taste good but disappointed to find a blue rubber band in my food. Salt and pepper chicken is good and also the Mo Shu.

Chow mein was decent beef could used a little more flavor but other than that it was good

$88 total for the meal, delivery and all of the things only to throw most of the food out. Nothing was bad about the quality of ingredients - everything seems fresh enough. I ordered shrimp egg foo young (only shrimp seems to be available on the delivery menu), sesame balls and salt and pepper fish with a side of white rice. I have never had egg foo young where I could not only not see the egg, I could not taste it, either. It was practically batter, all the way throughout, and I have been eating egg foo young since the 80s in case the reader may think that I don't know what it should taste like. I didn't even eat half of one because it was so doughy and dense - no crunch from the sprouts... at least there was ample gravy, though it was on the food instead of on the side (not a big deal). The salt and pepper fish did not taste good to me, like the oil had been used a lot. Overall, I just did not enjoy the meal and was angry that I spent close to $100 to not be able to eat it, but it's always a gamble when you check out a new spot. I gave 3 stars because the sesame balls were pretty yummy, there was ample gravy for the egg foo young, the food arrived on time and the order was complete. I will really have to look again to order from here another time - I was trying to branch out. Chinatown has a lot of great options.
