Great location and atmosphere. Parking can be a little challenging. Good coffee. Was there for a meeting so didn't get to indulge. But and that is a big but, I plan to return and indulge. Highly recommend. Great place to meet or study.

Service was slow as they only had 1 person working on a Saturday morning. The Yemeni flavors are interesting but it compensates for the uninteresting coffee brew. Come for the Yemeni coffee drinks, the coffee itself is pretty average

Love the Sanaa in downtown Oakland! This location is hit or miss. Slow service on a Sunday, kept people waiting to order. Employees look like they are taking their sweet time.
$7 Pistachio latte had no pistachio flavor, just paid a lot for a cup of warm milk.
The main positive of this location is the availability of seating so you can stay and read or work for a bit.

The new neighborhood hang! Awesome place to work; open every day until 10p is amazing. Zack & crew clearly want this to be the welcoming local spot everyone comes to… and they do a great job. :) Fast wifi, lots of work space, great food… the ideal coffee shop spot! PROTIP: baklava is incredible…

My husband and I stopped by Sanaa Cafe on Telegraph, and we were blown away by the experience! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual bite or a relaxed hangout. We ordered the fatayer and an iced tea, and both were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
A special shoutout to Elijah, who helped us with our order — he was so kind, attentive, and genuinely made us feel right at home. His positive energy and great service really added to our experience.

Disappointing for lunch. 12:30 pm: The only person out front is making coffee drinks. No eye contact, no "someone will be with you." Is he alone here? we wonder.
After a few minutes, another person comes out from the back to take my order. Great! I'd like the avocado and veggie wrap. Sorry, we're out of avocado. I know, I know. This can happen. Wouldn't be so bad if there were another reasonable veggie lunch...but I didn't see anything I wanted. The whole interaction felt very corporate and chain-y, like Joe and the Juice....without the juice.
