I ordered the chicken tikka masala each for $13.99 and [only got six small pieces of chicken] in an oily salty sauce and a small container of oily rice for $3.99. The guy who took my order was taking his sweet time acting like he was cleaning before he came to help me when I was the only person in the restaurant except for the one family who was already seated and eating.
I’m waiting for my food and I hear a bell chime coming from the back. The guy isn’t paying attention, he’s more busy talking to people who already have their food.
Five or so minutes go by and the bell chimes again but he still isn’t paying attention. I pull out my phone and set a timer, after five more minutes I stand up by the door and that’s when he notices me and tells me my food is coming. He takes his time taking another person’s order before he takes his time to walk to the back to get my food and then takes his time to walk over to me so I walk up and meet him half way to take my food and he pulls it away to slowly walk to grab a stapler and insists on stapling it before he slowly hands me my food.
I live just up the street and when I opened to eat my food literally five minutes later my food was already cold/lukewarm.
The food was so greasy and salty that my stomach is a bit upset.
Despite the lackadaisical service the taste was still pretty good but I don’t think I wanna come back often to pay $20 for greasy, cold, and small portions. 😢

I placed an order as a take out and my family member went to pick up this order but they told us they are preparing it but we ordered at 7:28 and was still there until 8:20 or more and then later we got a call from the place we had actually placed this order from at biryani kabab at 13th Street but went to the wrong restaurant to pick up we feel bad for the waste the food is going to go there this place did not tell us they have to just tell us this was wrong location and the place we actually ordered from was only 1 min drive from this place. WASTED our time and the food at the place we ordered from. disappointing
They are so rude, overpriced and don’t care. They make you wait so long also they don’t care about that, I don’t recommend you go to this place not worth it.

My experience over here was pathetic, the food tasted bland, the ambience was dull, and the server was rude.
Though it says authentic Indian and Pakistani the food tasted very different from the authentic taste.
The server was rude, we asked him a few questions about the food items and the only thing he said was that we order quickly as he has other tables to attend to, as if we are eating here for free.
For taste and service like this I would avoid this place even if they were serving free food. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Mediocre food, no option to make it spicier, and skimpy. Got 4 oz of chicken for 16$, no complimentary rice. Paid 60$ for some naan and needing to make myself dinner anyway. Would not recommend and will not be coming back

Food is authentic and flavorful but it’s not a place to dine it. You are better off with takeaway and eat at home.

I LOVE Biryani and they do it right, the rice is perfect not mushy, it's separated and the ingredients are fresh, portions are plentiful and prices are super fair! The guy is always good to me

I was headed to the post office on 13th street when I noticed this kabab restaurant. I thought, I'll stop in on my way back. What a treat, I had the curry lamb with rice. I must say that it has to the best curry sauce that I have ever had. The flavors were bold and rich and the lamb was cooked to perfection. I will most definitely be going back!
