Dystopic. A robot places the cup and then presses the button on an automatic office style espresso machine. It then places the cup on a stand for you to grab. It's automatic espresso machine coffee - literally, the type of machine in an office. Why? There are real coffee shops in the area. Your money can go towards paying wages to a human that will make you better coffee in a spot with better ambiance. Believe it or not, there is a tip screen when you pay. You must be joking. I am not tipping a robot. 2024 folks. Jesus.

When I went here I was really excited to see the robot make my drink. The human attendant was very friendly and helpful, and I wish him all the best with the business. But essentially, the robot's purpose was to hold a cup in front of one of those machines that just makes you a sub-par latte. And when the robot put the cup down in the cup holder, the cup almost tipped over and spilled out. They did give me a cookie with the coffee, which was a nice bonus, but the cookie was nothing to rave about.

If the AI revolution is as big a scam as this place, we’re really wasting a lot of resources worrying about it. Terrible overpriced coffee. The only thing the robot does is hand it to you, except that doesn’t actually work so the person that works there just does it.
