We were here last night, and 4 dishes + 2 rice orders and 2 mago lassi drinks later, it came out to be $200 with tax and tips. I understand the cost inflation, and I don't mind paying a lot if the food is amazing. However the quality is not even close to how they used to be 3-4 years ago. This place has been a bay area staple. The best thing here is the tea leaf salad. The somosa soup is also good. honestly, feel everything else is so so and its a little overpriced for the portions.
Hands-down, the best restaurant in SF. First time trying Burmese food and it will not be the last. Shocked how good it was and disappointed and how I’ve been missing out on this cuisine.
