Stopped in early morning for some of their famous Cuban coffee and instantly loved it. Decided to then try their Plantains and beef patties for something lite and it was worth it. I love the California infused take on the chicken patties. The plantains were just right and came with a cinnamon butter that you pour over them. I will definitely came back for dinner and give an update.
From what I know since the early 90s, this is the 3rd restaurant in Oakland; Caña has been my all time favorite and, lucky for me, plantanos maduros have always been on the menu!We tried to order a bit of everything because it’s all so delicious! There’s plenty of vegetarian dishes as well.Delicious food….. yet, wait, there’s more!
