I had an amazing experience at Cam Anh Deli! The food is absolutely delicious, with a diverse range of authentic Vietnamese dishes that are both healthy and flavorful. I wish I could give 5 stars, this place is a community gem. The lemongrass tofu sandwich is fabulous, and the owner is so kind. She’s been recognized by the city of Oakland for serving food to the unhoused population 3 days a week for years. She is vegan and has several off-menu vegan items if you call ahead - vegan pho, egg(less) rolls, etc.
The owner is super friendly and accommodating. We had the lemongrass tofu banh mi, spring rolls, and egg rolls. All were vegan. The owner is vegan and was very happy to serve fellow vegans. The kids loved it as well. Great prices and great food!!
