Bread was stale and meat tasted old 🤮
I echo the previous review about this place selling stale items. The baked pork bun that I got seemed like a few days old. It was hard as rock and tasted bad. The mooncake seemed like a month old as well. It was bad! Wasted my money. Don’t patronize this place until they get their shit together.
Cool vibe but stale food. Ordered coconut bean jelly drink and somehow the coconut milk has already gone bad. Asked for some help or another drink and was told no refunds and no English. Good times.
Delicious banh mi xa xiu for $9 with tax

Selling stale bread at a bakery is unethical. What's worse is they literally put this bread on baking sheets in a rack to make it appear fresh. Look how hard and stale it is in the video. Only $1.50 but I'm sorry, it should be labeled "day old".

This unassuming place has the best banh mi I’ve found in downtown Oakland. $8 after tax. Get the Banh Mi Dac Biet.

Solid Banh Mi’s, my favorites are the combination and BBQ chicken.
Good banh mi. Not too much mayo or grease. Bread is nicely toasted. Pickled carrots and cucumbers in the sandwich.

This bahn mi is so fresh and amazing that you might as well plan to order two.Edit: One year post COVID and I'm so glad to see Cam Huong bakery is still here.
$7 bah mi sammiches. 10 dollar minimum for cards z delicious. Do it.
It’s one thing when the food is great, but the staff was BEYOND amazing- my boyfriend accidentally left his phone behind and as we walked the man behind the counter chased us down to return it! We’ll definitely be coming back for their delicious bahn mis and their wonderful service
This is my go-to place to get Vietnamese sandwiches in Oakland Chinatown. Besides Banh Mi sandwiches, it offers packaged small French breads, Asian baked goods, snacks, big muffins, and drinks and Vietnamese desserts in the fridge. Although there are a couple of tables inside, people usually come here for takeouts. I ordered my favorite, grilled pork sandwich with extra meat, which had a good amount of fillings and the bread was toasted and crunchy on the outside.
