The Shan Dong restaurant was a great find. We had to queue outside but this meant that we could watch the hand made noodles being made...We order the house special dumplings, the sesame noodle, the meat sauce noodles and the ginger beef. We had a lot of leftovers from three hungry people. The weakest dish was the meat sauce noodles, but the others were excellent.This was the best food that we have had visiting Oakland and the cheapest meal that we had! We will be coming back!
This is my favourite chinese restaurant. Everyone kept telling me that the best chinese food can be found here and this exceeded my expectations. The hand made noodles are incredible. and everything else is so delicious. Service was also really fast and friendly. I loved this place. Also as a vegan, there were so many options. This photo shows all vegan food.
