Noodles are good but ordered vegan dishes and they had shrimp in them! It's clear they aren't super careful about the takeout orders.

Great food. Fast service. Great noodles and they seem to be a lot of other items on the menu that are worth exploring

The dumplings are out of this world! The servings are huge so I wouldn't order too many plates but you cannot go wrong with any dumpling and the green beans are a classic side.

I've been in DT Oakland for the past decade or so for a conference every year, and my friend recommended this spot. I'm glad to finally check this out. AMBIANCE: Parking: Street parking, usually metered parking. Seating: Great for groups. Room for about 70 people with good groups for 5 or more. Vibes: Welcome to Downtown Oakland. You're close to a lot of other good eatery spots, historical monuments, and other pleasant sightseeing places. The place itself is nothing too flashy. It's a grit and grind area, but they are unapologetically proud of their social recognitions. There's nice pop music in the background. Great place for a food adventure or family/groups. FOOD: Deluxe Combination Chow Mein (Recommend) This is a wonderful medley of beef, bok choy, bean sprouts, onions and chicken with their hand-cut signature noodles. The noodles were truly one of a kind, from their appearance to their soft/chewy texture and nutty flavor. The sauce was reasonably mixed around, which made it pretty savory. Be sure to ask for some hot sauce! CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! Ordered for pick up and they were prepared! TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. Fantastic! Good food, reasonable prices, and a calming experience. Yes there are lot of food choices here but their noodles really do stand out. I appreciate the delicious food and their hard work. Wishing the best to Charles Hung, family, and team on their business! TIPS: * Too many choices! Bring a friend or two to mix and match * Top 25 noodle places in San Diego!

I have only ordered the Singapore Noodles and they are perfect. I want to come back and try the shrimp chow mein with hand pulled noodles, then I'll update. The guy / owner at the front is nice and quick.

As someone who isn't Chinese, but is part Asian - I thoroughly enjoy this food. I always leave absolutely stuffed. The portions are great, the food is delicious, the service is quick. You will most likely have a wait if you come at night but it's never ridiculously long.

Came in early on a Wednesday and there was no wait! We went with some hand cut noodles chow mein, Shan Dong dumplings, chicken with broccoli, and the chive-filled pancakes. The waitress warned us about the wait for the pancakes, but we already knew about that. Everything was great, but the chive-filled pancakes still really takes the top prize. It is nice and crispy and a great filling. Definitely worth the wait!

Their rockstar is the sesame paste noodles, which are hand-pulled. They give huge portions for the price - I got 3 meals out of the sesame paste noodles.

Every single time I go here, the food is delicious. Especially this time that I tried some of their spicier dishes. The food is simple but so flavorful. They also give big portions so bringing others is nice. It was really nice to go for lunch at around 11:30 am when it was slow. The people slowly started to trickle in, and the atmosphere is always really nice even when it's packed. The staff is nice and the food always comes out really fast.

This place has been around for decades. My friends all been recommending this place to me. I was skeptical at first, because it felt like it was meant to serve Non-Chinese people. Randomly I got a Uber Eats deal for this place, and I decided to try it out. And I was very pleasantly surprised. As a Chinese person, this place definitely aced the test. The eggplant was phenomenal. Their hand made noodles was so chewy mixed with the sesame sauce was heavenly. And their prices were so reasonable at this day and age for the bay area! I finally understand the hype and I definitely a huge fan now.

Go to Chinese food in Oakland. The hand pulled chow mein noodles are the star of the show but the whole menu is fire

I haven't visited in person, but this has quickly become my favorite restaurant for delivery. The food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the handmade sesame noodles! I only wish I could order delivery outside the confines of Uber Eats or Doodash.

I will make trips to Oakland just to go here! I dream about the sesame noodles and also love the green beans and salt and pepper tofu

Food is mediocre. We ordered the Mongolian beef, the famous sesame noodles, the jalapeño lamb and the shandong chicken. All were very mediocre.

We got the Shan dong chicken - loved it! Large portions, packed well, flavorful, will definitely get it
