Been coming here for a bit but I guess they care more about not wasting food than serving customer clean fresh food. I got 2 sandwiches for the guy to pull two from under the counter already made? Usually they are made in front for you. Well didn't turn out so well. Bread old, meat smelled funny. Shouldn't have kept eating. A few hours later I'm here sitting know where writing this review Great job! Never coming back.

Good banh mi. Not too much mayo or grease. Bread is nicely toasted. Pickled carrots and cucumbers in the sandwich.

Gotta come for the pork buns , croissants and hot dog buns. All the food was yummy! The price is wonderful but I need to return to try the bah mi! Cool staff not the most ambiance but for the price it was a wonderful experience!!!!!

Good place to buy banh mi in the area. The nice gentleman and lady here are super nice. My go to is their combo and you can request to put the veggies on the side, and cut the sandwich in half if you're not going to eat them right away. This helps when you heat them in your toaster oven so you can add the veggies after. They also sell ready made Vietnamese drink desserts like the Three Red beans. They have other bakery good like cookies, croissants and more. All in all, good local hole in the wall in the heart of Chinatown. Cheers!

I bought it at noon on September 22, 2023. I took it home in the afternoon and found that it was all moldy!

This is nowhere as good as the real Cam Huong on international boulevard. Forget going to the one on Webster waste of time. The Banh mi didn't have much meat and vegetable on it, bread was stale(not fresh bread like we were anticipating). Plus the sandwich was $9 crazy! I expect it more. Even the egg roll taste a little stale and the plum sauce was made out of corn starch, shame! I'll never go there again. I think this place has changed hands about 10 years ago. Both seem to have the same name but go to the one on international and better parking!

yummy sandwich and iced coffee. Was Done in 5 minutes. I got the meat pate combo. They don't have the fancy grilled chicken rolling in the back or the carved pork but that's why it's not $22 but $12.

This bahn mi is so fresh and amazing that you might as well plan to order two.Edit: One year post COVID and I'm so glad to see Cam Huong bakery is still here.
$7 bah mi sammiches. 10 dollar minimum for cards z delicious. Do it.

Not much I talk about the Vietnamese café in the East Bay since it's a bit larger than the one in the Tenderloin. It's brilliant to see how these plastic wrapped packaged foods were set in perfect harmony. I feel I might come back here once again since my brother was so interested. I expect our phone call with the staff members will turn out smoothly for the next visit. Say we shall have banh mí sandwiches without jalapeños. Let's hope Cam Huong Bakery do just as well as other Vietnamese cafés do throughout the East Bay.

Quick friendly service at the counter for 7 dollar banh mi sandwiches. I think price and quality is on par with most places in the area. I also got a Thai iced tea which was pretty good but had more ice than I would have liked. Small seating area for 1 or 2 person groups but I think most people take to-go. There's also various baked goods that on could order here. I think this is a decent mom and pop shop if you want a banh mi sandwich and are in the area.

Great place for Viet sandwiches. The owner is also very friendly. They are efficient if you call ahead to order and pick up. The sandwiches are also very yummy with great price!

It’s one thing when the food is great, but the staff was BEYOND amazing- my boyfriend accidentally left his phone behind and as we walked the man behind the counter chased us down to return it! We’ll definitely be coming back for their delicious bahn mis and their wonderful service
